PROVIDENCE… Israel Olang Torres, 80, of Fall River passed away December 25th at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Reyes Olang and Lydia Torres. He had lived in Fall River for the past 6 years. He was the companion of 37 years of the late Luz Baga. Mr. Olang Torres worked as a truck driver for the United States Postal Service and enjoyed spending time at home. Survivors include several step-children, step-grandchildren nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, January 2 at 8 PM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA. Calling hours will be held Friday from 6-8 PM, prior to the service.
